When Heidi Slansky survived Stage III breast cancer AND skin cancer, she wanted to come to the aid of female cancer survivors in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Inspired by slipping on boxing gloves and how they made her feel like she was truly fighting cancer, Heidi founded Cancer StrongHER. Its mission is to help women physically and mentally by provided a forum to actively carry the fight through boxing fitness, tae kwon do, yoga and pilates.
